WALDRON, Ind. (Oct. 29, 2026) – The community is invited to join the fun at Waldron Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for its annual Halloween event on Saturday, October 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 505 N. Main St. Waldron, Ind.
Waldron staff and residents will distribute candy to trick-or-treaters.
Children and their families are invited to participate in the Halloween spirit by dressing in their favorite costumes while enjoying the spooky, family friendly fun. The facility’s staff will also be in costume.
“We enjoy celebrating the fall season with our residents and neighbors each year,” said Nicole Cherry, executive director of Waldron Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. “Special events such as this allow us to strengthen community ties while creating lasting memories for our residents and neighbors.”
Everyone is encouraged to bring a bag, pillowcase, or pumpkin basket to collect treats. This is one of the many events we hold throughout the year to stay connected with our neighbors. From a holiday light display and spring visits with the Easter Bunny to clothing drives, school supply collections, and other community activities, we’re delighted to create opportunities for families to come together and build a stronger community.
“It’s a fun, safe environment where kids can enjoy trick-or-treating and celebrate Halloween with their families,” said Cherry. “Everyone enjoys showing off their costumes, and we see so many imaginative ideas each year.”
